Video of Memorial Service for Don and Pat Prom

Patricia “Pat” Jane Prom, of Prescott Valley, Arizona and formerly of Port Washington, Wisconsin joined her family in heaven on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021. She was 80 years old. 

Pat was born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin on May 20, 1941 to Beatrice Reinen and George Wilkum. She was one of three children. She grew up in Milwaukee and enjoyed trips to Bradford Beach with her friends and siblings. She married Donald Prom in 1988. 

Patricia retired from Est. Company in Grafton, Wisconsin where she worked as an inspector. In her free time Pat enjoyed shopping, sewing, cooking, baking, and gardening. She enjoyed traveling with Don and her family, with a particular interest in the national parks. She was known for being hard-working, extremely generous, and unconditionally loving. 

Pat was a caring mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She took care of many family members in their time of need, including her brother, step-mother, and brother-in-law. After school and during the summers, Patricia and Donald took care of their grandchildren at their ranch home and took them on frequent outings and trips up north. 

Pat’s husband, Donald, passed away just three weeks prior to her. She also joined her sons Todd, Terry, and Craig Nordby, her siblings Ray “Bobo” Wilkum, Susan Sande, and her parents George and Beatrice.

She is survived by her son Jamie, her daughters-in-law Kathy (Bryon) Woelfel and Corinne Nordby, her grandchildren Dylan (Lauren) Nordby, Amanda Nordby, Devin (Wade) Grosklaus, Sarah Fowler, Hannah Nordby, and James Fowler, and her great-grandson Parker Nordby.  

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, September 10th, 2021 at Poole Funeral Home 203 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 1-5 pm Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.



  1. My heart aches for all the family. This is a big loss of two special people. I know how important family was to Donny and Pat and how very much they loved all of you. May God give you comfort and strength during this difficult time.

  2. We always looked forward to seeing Don and Pat up by White Potato Lake. They were wonderful neighbors and enjoyed our visits with them. Sending love and hugs.

  3. Pat & Donny will be sorely missed by all who knew them They will be remembered for their kindness and generosity. My heart is heavy with this loss.
