Myleen L. Ziebell, age 55, of Port Washington, WI passed peacefully Wednesday, January 3, 2018.

She was born on February 12, 1962 in Milwaukee; daughter of John and Lynette Mayer Fitzgerald. Myleen, as a teenager, moved to Port Washington and graduated from Port Washington High School with the class of 1980.

For many years she raised her family on Foster Street and Pierre Lane. She was very involved from the creation of the Port Washington Soccer Club. Myleen had been very involved and active with her boys during their childhood.

Myleen was a vital employee at the former Port Apothecary. She also worked at Keylink Solutions in Germantown and Neuen’s Lumber in Fredonia. She loved sports. She loved watching the Packers, NASCAR and the Wisconsin Badgers. She had a deep appreciation for nature. Myleen had a deep love and the amazing ability to make the most beautiful flower gardens that were admired by many each year.

She is survived by beloved significant other Jim Kirsch of Port Washington, her sons Chris (Caitlin) Ziebell of Volo, IL and Dan (Sarah) Ziebell of Cincinnati, OH, her mother Lynette “Mickey” Dorathy of Sun City West, AZ, her sister Connie (Jay) Janssen of Overland Park, KS and brother Greg (Joanna) Fitzgerald of Sembach, Germany, many nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Myleen is preceded in death by her father John Fitzgerald.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 6 PM Friday, January 12, 2018 at the POOLE FUNERAL HOME/Crematory, 203 N. Wisconsin Street, Port Washington, WI. Deacon Tom Surges will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM Friday. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Washington.

  1. Just moved to the condos Aug. 201 6 & have been on the condo board with Myleen since Sept. 2016. Glad I was able to get to know her a bit & know the love she had for her boys & Jim. The condo association will miss her & her spunk. Such a shock to us all. I will miss her.

  2. I was shocked to hear of Myleen’s passing. I worked with her for several years at Keylink Solutions and enjoyed our friendship. She will surely be missed by many friends and family.

  3. I am shocked and saddened. I will miss our long phone conversations, the laughter and all the good times we shared when we were at Keylink. Rest In Peace my friend.

  4. I have a lot of fond memories working with Myleen on the soccer board, tournaments and attending sporting events.
    When I was a stay at home mom she called us domestic goddesses. She will be missed.
