Carol Stone, 63, formerly of Maple Crest, Port Washington died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington.
She was born August 14, 1943 in Port Washington to Robert and Adeline Lauters Stone. She lived in downtown Port Washington on North Franklin Street before moving to the Maple Crest apartments. Carol had worked at the Cedarburg Woolen Mills and most recently cleaned at Maple Crest and some offices. She liked watching baseball and football, latch hooking rugs and knitting afghans. She really enjoyed living at Maple Crest and participatin in their events with other residents.
Carol is survived by her sisters Roberta Hoffman of Milwaukee, Geraldine (Raymond) Kultgen of Port Washington and Kathleen Piiwaa of San Carlos, California. Further survived by a brother-in-law Bud FInch of Aiken, South Carolina, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pat Finch.
Rev. Patrick Wendt will officiate funeral services at 11 am, Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the funeral home. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation 10 – 11 am Saturday at the funeral home.
