Lillian M. Schneider, 91, of the Harbor Cove in Port Washington, Wisconsin died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at her residence.

She was born November 27, 1917 in Chilton, Wisconsin to John and Elizabeth Klinkner Weber.  She grew up on the farm in Chilton and later moved to Milwaukee.  She married Lawrence Schneider of Marytown, Wisconsin on June 22, 1946 in Chilton.  In 1951 they moved to to a home on Highway H (formerly Highway 84) in Fredonia across from Waubedonia Park.  She operated the “Fredonia Beauty Shop” from her home for over 50 years.  She was a member of the Warren  – Kane American Legion Post 410 Auxilary in Fredonia and enjoyed her flowers.  Her husband Lawrence preceded her in death February 22, 1993.  In 2003 she moved to the Harbor Club in Port Washington.

Lillian is survived by her daughter Linda (Dennis) Mayer of Fredonia, grandchildren Shelly (Dan) Meyerhofer of Kaukauna and Chad (Vicky) Mayer of Adell and great grandchildren Erin and Mitchell Meyerhofer and Kaila and Jamie Bloemers.  Further survived by sisters-in-law Monica (Lyle) Fuhrmann of Kiel, Selma Weber of Chilton, Loraine Schneider and Ruby Schneider both of Milwaukee, good friends Shirley and Paul Reinders of West Bend, other relatives and friends.  Preceded by her husband, grandson Josh Mayer, sister Virginia Grogan, brothers Claude and Roland Weber, sister-in-law Agnes Mitchell and brother-in-law Edward Schneider.

The Rev. James Ernster will celebrate Mass of Christian Burial 7 pm Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Holy Rosary Parish – St. Rose Chapel, Fredonia.  Interment parish cemetery.  Visitation 4 – 7 pm Wednesday AT CHURCH.  Memorials of choice appreciated.
