Steven R. Jensen, 50, of Oak Street in Waupaca, Wisconsin died Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, Wisconsin.

He was born September 30, 1958 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Robert Jensen and Carol Ann Becker. He was raised by his mother and stepfather James Mueller. In 1966 they moved from Milwaukee to Fredonia, Wisconsin. Steven graduated from the Delavan School for the Deaf and attended college in New York for a year. He returned to the area and later moved to Waupaca, Wisconsin.

Steven enjoyed making models and camping, taking a yearly trip to the Wisconsin Dells with his friends. He was a big NASCAR fan and also rooted for the Milwaukee Brewers. He was a member of various organizations and clubs for the hard of hearing.  He will be remembered as a loving and caring man who was always happy and had a smile to share.

He is survived by his stepfather James (Dede) Mueller, aunt Marilyn Mueller, good friends Suzie Davidsaver and Wally Kemp, daughter Nikki Jensen and his feline buddy Jordan. Preceded in death by his mother Carol Ann.

Pastor David Toeller will officiate serviced at Noon on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Washington. Visitation 11am to Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.
