  1. Dear Armin, I heard the sad news through Pastor Krieger in Tecumseh, MI. Since I am a member at Grace Lutheran in Tecumseh and volunteer there typing bulletins, newsletters, etc. I am included on his “contacts” list. So sorry to hear of Virginia’s passing. I’m sure many will miss her. But with the assurance of heaven, the sadness we feel is our loss, not hers. We know we will see her again. When my mom (your Tante Ippy) died, Dad used to say, “I know we won’t be married in heaven, but I think we will be the best of friends.” God’s blessings as you grieve.

  2. Dear Professor Panning. I was sorry to hear of the passing from this life of your wife. Be comforted by the fact that as Jesus rose from the dead, so also will your wife – and you – on the last day to be with our Savior in both body and soul forever. Even now, Virginia is with her Savior. ajk & Sherry
