The time of pain, it now is the past

Your angels came to guide you home at last

Back to the Lord; to be young again

To be healthy and vibrant once again

You worked so hard to provide a good life

For your family, your daughters and for your wife

You did not fail and gave all that you could

You made sure of our comfort and made everything good.

Your last thoughts were about family and wife

You did not want to leave them alone in this life

A promise from your daughter that all will be good

That your angels are waiting to take you to God.

We spent the afternoon together – just saying grace

Our last few moments, one breath and you left this place

You are now in a place without pain and grief

Your angels came quiet and to bring you relief.

We all will miss and mourn you
