Gregg T. Rogers, age 60, of Port Washington, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 27, 2023 at his residence.

Gregg was a loving son, brother, uncle and great uncle to his family.  He sent frequent messages of curiosity and care, often asking for recent family photos. Gregg was a kind and thoughtful person. He was often a source of wisdom and an attentive listener who remembered details. He had a good heart and a warm smile that made you feel at ease.  His warmth, in addition to a wonderful sense of humor, made loved ones want to be around him. His sincerity and kindness left a lasting impression. Everything about him, down to his laugh and way of walking, was truly one-of-a-kind.  His loss will be felt keenly by those who would have relied on him for strength at just these moments.

Born on March 26, 1963 in Milwaukee, WI, Gregg was the beloved son of Marliss and Julian Rogers. He grew up in Wauwatosa and graduated from St. Pius XI High School. Upon his release from active duty, Gregg returned to Wisconsin and served with the 128th Air Refueling Unit out of General Mitchell Field in Milwaukee. He retired from the Wisconsin Air National Guard with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant after more than 25 years of service.

Residing in Port Washington for the last decade, Gregg was an avid sports enthusiast, especially the Packers, Brewers, Bucks and NASCAR.  He was still anticipating his season tickets from the Green Bay Packers and still waiting.

Gregg received an Associates Degree from the Community College of the Air Force and was nearly complete with his Bachelors Degree from Concordia University in Mequon.

Gregg also enjoyed gardening, music and cooking his way by reinventing old family recipes.
