Kenneth J. “Kenny” Prom, 74, of Meadowmere, East Puetz Road in Oak Creek, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at his residence.
He was born of June 6, 1938, son of John and Cecelia Zipperer Prom in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Raised on the family farm on County Highway KK in the Town of Port Washington he graduated from Port Washington High School. He continued to work the family farm for a few years after that and later moved to Milwaukee, where he was employed by American Motors Corporation. He then took a job with Harley Davidson Motorcycle Mfg. Company in Milwaukee where he remained for over 35 years. He had worked in the Service Department in Oak Creek prior to retirement.
Kenny will be remembered for his happy demeanor. He enjoyed time spent with family, travel and going to the horse track or the dog track. He certainly enjoyed cheering his favorite team-the Green Bay Packers.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church, 1802 N. Wisconsin Street, Port Washington. Reverend Patrick Wendt will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held from 11-Noon Tuesday AT CHURCH. Final interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Port Washington. Memorials to the church are appreciated.
