Marvin L. Parlow, 74, of W Beutel Road in Port Washington died Friday, September 24, 2004 at Cedar Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cedarburg, where he had resided for the past three weeks.
He was born in Belgium, Wisconsin on January 17, 1930 to Robert and Anna Porte Parlow. He met Shirley Thome of Port Washington, Wisconsin and they were marrried November 17, 1951 at St. Mary’s Church in Port Washington, Wisconsin. He worked in the machine shop at Simplicity Manufacturing in Port Washington retiring after 41 years. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists, Local 1430.
Marvin is survived by his wife Shirley of Port Washington and children Melinda Parlow of Port Washington, Michele Paulson of Grafton and Mike (Mary) Parlow of Waukesha. He was the proud grandpa of Melanie Paulson, Spencer Parlow, Katie Parlow and Christine Parlow. Further survived by sister Evelyn Becker of Belgium, sister-in-law Carol (George) Lucas of Port Washington, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by a son Mitch in 1979 and a sister Marcella Witte.
Pastor Ed Rafferty of Cedar Creek Community Church in Cedarburg will officiate funeral services 6 pm Monday at the funeral home. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation after 3 pm Monday at the funeral home.
