Video of Funeral Mass Audrey Molitor

Audrey K. “Honey” Molitor, age 75 years, of the Town of Port Washington, WI died peacefully June 14, 2020 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg, WI.

She was born June 6, 1945 in Port Washington, WI to Alexander and Alice Sherer Fromm.  She met

James “Monk” Molitor of Port Washington, WI and they were married July 16, 1966 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Port Washington, WI.  Together they raised a family and she joined the Ladies Auxiliary of the Van Ells-Schanen American Legion Post 82, Port Washington of which her husband was an active member.  Her husband James preceded her in death December 7, 2009.

Audrey worked as a hairdresser in Brown Deer, WI before starting at the former Kate’s Place in Port Washington as the first manager there.  She would later go on to become a hairdressing instructor.  After she put the scissors down, she worked as a clerk at Wal-Mart from 2000 to 2009.  She enjoyed being with family and friends and loved being a grandma.

She is survived by her children John (Nichole) Molitor of Boston, Massachusetts and Julie Molitor of Port Washington and granddaughter Lucy Ann.  Further survived by brothers Alvin “Butch” (Marilyn) Fromm of Grafton, sister-in-law Elsa Molitor of Port Washington, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her husband James, daughter Dawn Marie, sister Alice Jacque, brothers Art Fromm and Allen Fromm and brother-in-law Ron Molitor.

Mass of Christian Burial 6pm Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at St. John XXIII Parish/St. Mary’s Church, 451 N Johnson St., Port Washington, WI.  Visitation will be held from 3:30 – 5:30PM Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at the POOLE FUNERAL HOME/Crematory, 203 N. Wisconsin Street, Port Washington, WI.  Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Washington, WI.

  2. I started with her as my stylist at Kates. Then on to be their Realtor to sell the house at Larabee and settle them into country life. Always friends and she will be missed. Love to John and Julie,

  3. Audrey was one of by “bestest” friends from high school and after. We did a lot of fun things together. Saw her at our 50th class reunion. Will miss her smiling face and fun laugh.
