Arlie Medinger, 77, of Woodland Avenue, Port Washington died Sunday, January 9, 2005 at Woodland Manor in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
She was born in Port Washington Wisconsin on September 25, 1927 to Nick and Hilda Schommer Conrad. She met Wilmer Medinger of the Town of Holland, Wisconsin and they married August 4, 1951 in Port Washington. Early in their marriage they lived on Chestnut Street and moved to Woodland Avenue in the early 1960’s. Wilmer preceded Arlie in death December 14, 1974.
Arlie was a bookkeeper at the former Bolen’s – FMC – Garden Way in Port Washington for 45 years. She enjoyed bowling and was active in local leagues at Bley’s Recreation serving as the League Secretary quite often. She also enjoyed playing cribbage and cards, reading, watching classic westerns and one-armed bandits.
She is survived by her children Sandy (Lynus) Lepak of Belgium, Jacky (Glenn) Kaltenbrun of Port Washington, Mike (Sue) Medinger of Oostburg and Barb (Joe) Neal of Belgium. She was a proud grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 4. Further survived by brother Bill (Carol) Conrad of Port Washington, sister Bernice Conrad of Port Washington, other relatives and friends.
The Rev. Allan Sommer will officiate funeral services 6 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation 4 – 6 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
