Kelli A. Love, age 46, of Mineral Springs Drive, Port Washington, WI died Friday, February 13, 2015 with family and friends around her at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon from complications due to diabetes.
She was born on November 7, 1968 in Milwaukee, daughter of Ronald and Karen Geiger Love. Kelli graduated from Hamilton High School in Milwaukee. Her family later moved to Port Washington where she took a job waitressing at the former Smith Bros. Restaurant. For a time, Kelli also waitressed at the Anchor Inn in Milwaukee.
For over 20 years, Kelli battled leukemia. She enjoyed being out and about with family and friends when her health would allow her. She found enjoyment keeping in touch on Facebook, working puzzles and music from the 1970’s.
Kelli is survived by her two sisters Mindy (Tom) Polzin of Cudahy and Carol (Bob) Brueser of Port Washington; her two brothers Brian (Jane) Love of Port Washington and Chuck (Kristen Miller) Love of Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews Jennifer, Justin, Margaret, Samantha, Christie, Hannah, Noah and Sarah, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Debbie Love.
