Thomas Kontny, age 65 years, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin died peacefully on Sunday March 27, 2022 at his residence.

He was born March 5, 1957 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Richard and Joan Paterski Kontny.  Tom was the second of nine children and spent his childhood picking pickles, beans and peas on the family farm or helping Uncle Charlie working on his farm. Most importantly, he spent his time with his brothers and sisters enjoying life. He later enjoyed painting and assembling models.

He was a graduate of Oconto Falls High School and after graduation enlisted in the National Guard.  He  went on to work at Tri-State Amusements, Larson Company, Dean Foods, and his last employment was at Tennyson Farms.

He is survived by his Brothers Richard “Dick” (Leta) Kontny, David (Denise) Kontny, Daniel “Dan” Kontny, Kenneth “Ken” (Marcie) Kontny and sister Cathy (Bill) Hamm.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Joan, his brother Harold and his sisters Linda and Christine.

Services will be private and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers it is the family’s request to have donations made to the American Diabetes Association.

  1. Cathy and family , I’m so sorry to hear this. We spent some time with Tom at our FreeThanksgiving Dinner in the last few years and it was good to see him and talk to him there. Prayers to all of you.
