Kenneth R. “Ken” Klippel, age 72, formerly of Saukville and Marinette County, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Village Point Commons in Grafton, Wisconsin where he had recently resided.
He was born on June 29, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ken grew up in Grafton, son of Earl and Shirley Sonneman Klippel.
Over the years, Ken worked for the former FMC Corporation as a Tool Grinder and later over 30 years for the Milwaukee Gear Corporation, now the Regal Beloit Corporation of Grafton.
Ken was an avid sports fan and loved the outdoors. Hunting, fishing and golf were among his favorite pastimes, especially in his retirement up north. He appreciated being out with family and friends and had bowled on many teams over the years.
He is survived by his children Kurt (Stephanie) Klippel of Grafton and Kelly (Tom) Stecker of Waldo, grandchildren Hunter, Hayden and Tyler, his sister Laura Bloedorn, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Kim Klippel and dear friend Dick Doucette.
No funeral services will be held.
I worked with Ken at Milwaukee Gear. I always enjoyed our talks about going up north, our favorite places to stop at along the way and what we did once we were up there. Was the fishing good, how was the hunting? He will be missed. He was a great coworker and friend. RIP Kenny
