Video of Susan Jushka Memorial Mass

Susan M. Jushka, age 67, of Port Washington, WI passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 12, 2021 at home.

She was born on August 27, 1953 in Port Washington, WI; daughter of Joseph A. and Johanna V. “Joan” Croatt Bialzik. Sue grew up in Belgium, attending St. Mary’s Parochial School in Lake Church and graduated from Ozaukee High School in 1971.

On December 1, 1973, Sue married Richard G. “Dick” Jushka of Port Washington at St. Mary’s Church in Lake Church, town of Belgium.

Together they raised their family in Port Washington. Sue worked for Daniel Witkowski, DDS for many years, retiring in 2015.

She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and her canine pals Duchess, Lizzie and Zoey.

She will be deeply missed.

Sue is survived by her daughters Nicole (Dan) DeYarman of Rice Lake, Rachael (Tom) Carter of Wauwatosa and Crystal (Tony) McCoy of Milwaukee; nine grandchildren Samantha, Hailey, Sarah, Joshua, Noah, Anna, Joseph, Benjamin and Jonathan “Jack”; her sister Mary (Tim) Kohlway of Grafton; her brother Eugene (Pat) Bialzik of Saukville; sisters-in-law Carol Jushka of Port Washington, Marilyn Jushka of Batavia, IL, Mary Pat (Lin) Eshleman of Littleton, CO and Pamela (Phil) Westfahl of Port Washington; brothers-in-law Dale Weyenberg of Green Bay and Thomas Jushka of Waukesha, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dick on February 9, 2015, her granddaughter Scarlett, her sister Janice Weyenberg and brothers-in-law Paul and Peter Jushka.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 4:30PM Thursday, February 18, 2021 at St. John XXIII Parish-St. Peter of Alcantara Church, 1802 N. Wisconsin Street, Port Washington, WI. Reverend Patrick Wendt will be the celebrant. There will no visitation. Family and friends welcome for Mass. Masks required.

Final interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Washington.

  3. It’s so sad that Sue Jushka has passed away so soon. Sue was a very sweet person. Her father Joe Bialzik and my former father-in-law Ralph Bialzik were brothers. Sue’s mother Joan was in the same nursing home as my mother was years ago.
