Mary Ann I. Honeck, age 85, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away peacefully with her family at her side Tuesday May 9, 2023 at Advocate Aurora Health Center in Grafton, WI.

Born in Milwaukee, WI on August 30, 1937 to Andrew and Agnes Prodzinski Janecek, Mary Ann graduated from the former Girls Trade and Technical High School. 

For many years she would work at Square D Corporation, later retiring from Kleentest Production Products of Milwaukee.

Remembered for her independence and her ability to negotiate a bargain, even at Wal-Mart, Mary Ann enjoyed her family and Potawatomi gaming. 

She is survived by her children Darwin (Cindy) Shaurette of Thiensville, Brian (Tanya) Shaurette of Nekoosa and Curt (Shannon) Shaurette of Port Washington, step-son Kenny Honeck, Anchorage, Alaska grandchildren Amanda (Trevor) Skogen, Kevin (Steven), Mitchell and Cassandra (Brandon Thompson) Shaurette, Scott (Paige), Julie and Jasmine Johnson, Brianna Shaurette, Curtis, Jr. (Danielle), Marissa, Lauren (Levi Kern) and Abby (Zachary Sharpe) Shaurette, great-grandchildren Ellie, Khila, Cameron and one on the way, nephew Doug Janecek, her Schlotzsky family, cat Pumpkin and many other friends and relatives. 

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ken, her brother Jerry and his wife Shirley Janecek and niece Laura Tank.

Her memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon Saturday, May 20, 2023 at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 8661 N. 76th Place, Milwaukee, WI.  Family will receive relatives and friends from   10 to 11:45AM Saturday, May 20, 2023 AT CHURCH prior to Mass.

Memorials to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children (www.shrinerchildrens.org) or the Milwaukee Humane Society (www.wihumane.org) appreciated.
