Gracie Elaine Hicks, age 15, of Port Washington, Wisconsin and Crestview, Florida, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Milwaukee due to injuries of a traffic accident.
She was born on July 18, 2006 in Sidney, Ohio, daughter of Adam Hicks and Charla Wilson. She attended school in Crestview Florida before moving to Port Washington in December 2020.
Gracie was a loving, giving young woman who enjoyed drawing, painting, art, anime, and German. She would often share her jewelry creations and blankets she made with family and friends. A proud big sister of four younger siblings. Gracie had just started her sophomore year at Port Washington High School.
She is survived by her parents Adam (Amanda) Hicks of Port Washington and Charla (Justin) Wilson of Crestview, FL; her sisters Emma and Ava Hicks; sister and brother Heidi and Justin Wilson Jr; grandparents Richard and Susan Hicks, Elaine McClain, John and Cheri Griffin, Dawn Keglovich and Ivel Wilson; aunts Kristy St. Myers, Elysa Dienes, Hannah and Shannon Wilson, Kayla Farré and Melissa Ogden; uncles Ben McClain, Travis Hicks, Joshua Doak and Ryan and Chad Dienes, other relatives and friends.
Proceeded in death by Grandfather Larry Doak and aunt Jacqueline Hicks.
A Celebration of Gracie’s Life will take place with a candlelight vigil at 7PM Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Coal Dock Park, South Wisconsin Street in Port Washington. Other celebrations are planned in Florida and Ohio.
Gracie, such a talented, artistic, beautiful soul. Charla, Adam, Amanda, and Justin, I pray peace upon you in this loss.

Another morning I wake up and look at my phone and seeing you and the story about what happened.. Seems like a really bad dream.Words can’t describe the pain that I have losing you….it feels like I’ve lost 2 kids.I know you have your golden angel wings ..God must have really needed you to do something big for him…I ll miss you everyday and you’re in my heart always…you were loved by so many and will be missed by so many…I can hear you say “it’s going to be fine grandma” I do believe that was your favorite thing to say to be…I love you beyond words..
