Clarissa A. Gries, age 82, formerly of North Webster Street in Port Washington, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg where she had resided the past two years.
She was born on August 12, 1938 in Sheboygan, WI; daughter of Edward and Rosanna Phillips Gries. She and her siblings helped on the family farm in Lake Church, graduating from Port Washington High School.
She helped care for her parents and siblings while working at the high school in food service and the former St. Alphonsus Hospital/Columbia St. Mary’s in Port Washington.
She will be remembered for her quiet independence. No funeral services planned.
Clarissa is preceded in death by her siblings her sister Generose “Genny” Gries and brothers Stanley and his wife Mary, Donald and Ireneus “Ike” Gries.
