James H. Erickson, “Jim”, age 80, of the town of Port Washington, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 just a few days shy of his 58th wedding anniversary at Aurora Health Center in Grafton, Wisconsin.

He was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin on February 4, 1942. He was the son of Emil J. and Helen Lola Hayes Erickson.

On September 26, 1964, Jim married Sally J. Kultgen in Waukegan, IL. 

For over 38 years, Jim was a foreman at the former Voeller Manufacturing Company in Port Washington.  He and his wife enjoyed the country life raising their horses and riding.  He enjoyed time spent with family and friends especially riding his motorcycle, bowling and trapshooting.  Travels up north and around the country provided many stories and events.

Jim is survived by his wife Sally, his daughter Tammy Erickson of Random Lake, grandsons James “JC” Erickson III, Brandon Erickson and Zachary Rohr, great-grandson Damien Erickson, sister-in-law Bonnie Erickson, Sally’s sister Kathy (the late Harold) Wendt, sister-in-law Marlene (the late John) Kultgen, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his son James Erickson Jr., his sister Linda Erickson and brother Michael “Doc” Erickson, sister-in-law Mary Kultgen and brothers-in-law Mike and Paul Kultgen.

A private family gathering will be held in the near future.
