Wilson, Jeffery J.

Jeffery J. Wilson, age 66, of Kewaskum, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Aurora Health Center in Grafton, WI due to complications of lingering illnesses.

He was born in Milwaukee, WI on November 11, 1956; son of Phillip and Judith Bishop Wilson.

In 1985, Jeff moved to Kewaskum.  He worked for many years doing auto body repair and referred to himself as a “body man”.  He loved muscle cars and was very proud of his work.  Russ Darrow and Raymond’s in Cedarburg were a few of his places of employment, amongst others throughout the area.   

His kids and grandkids meant the world to Jeff.  He was the kind of guy who would do anything for anyone.  He loved talking and his voice could be heard over anything else going on. 

Jeff enjoyed a good game of pool, classic rock of the 1970’s and 80’s and watching the Packers with family and friends. 

He is survived by his children Jeffery Wilson of Fond du Lac, Jamie (Dale) Janus of Hartford and Jennifer (Christopher) Thomas of Saukville; eight grandchildren Breanna, Brooke, Tessa, Cody, Cole, Blake, Myles and JD; great-grandson Carsyn; his sisters Pam and Leslie, his brothers Scott, Buddy and Billy, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, his infant sister Sheila and his brother Marty, his best friend Steve Schrank and Steve’s son Stevie Schrank. 

Funeral services will be held at 3PM Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the POOLE FUNERAL HOME, 203 N. Wisconsin Street, Port Washington, WI.  Family will receive relatives and friends from 1-3PM Saturday prior to services.  A luncheon and fellowship will be held at the Landt-Thiel American Legion Post 470, 601 W. Dekora Street, Hwy 33, Saukville, WI after services.
