Raymond J. Wendt, 73, of the town of Grafton was born to eternal Life the morning of May 13, 2017 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon.

He was born November 3rd 1943 in Milwaukee, WI. To Raymond P. and Helen Wysocki Wendt. Raymond was an honored veteran that served in the United States Marine Corp. A true staple in his community, he was a compassionate man and a people person with an infectious laugh, who loved to joke around and make people laugh. A true entrepreneur he owned several businesses throughout his lifetime. The most relevant was his time spent running Ray’s clubhouse for 24 years inside the American Legion Post 82 in Port Washington.

In life he was an avid fisherman, a history buff that loved to travel whenever he could with his wife. He is now celebrating in the next life with his parents, baby brother, and other comrades that have passed on. He will be gravely missed.

Raymond was the Beloved husband of Jayne Wendt for 49 years; devoted father to Marie Recknagel(Chris), Raymond Wendt(Sandra), Nicola Creeley(Kevin), Sachia Wendt and Ashley Wendt and Loving grandfather to Tristan, Aidan, Ada, & Talon. Further survived by siblings Clara Hamilton(Robert), Tess Pilarzyk and Peter Wendt(BJ).

A private celebration of his life will be held on June 5th.
