Elizabeth J. “Betty” Sommers, 81, formerly of Niles, Michigan and Port Washington, Wisconsin died Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
She was born July 24, 1926 in Niles, Michigan to Dominic and Victoria Paonessa Frucci. She worked in the office at Tyler Refrigeration in Niles, Michigan for many years. In 1962 Betty married August Sommers in Michigan. After her husbands death on October 25, 2002 she moved to Wisconsin to be closer to her son. She enjoyed gardening and her lake home.
Betty is survived by her children Daniel (Christina) Loupee of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Madeline (Church) Norton of Brentwood, Tennessee and Michael (Judy) Loupee of Florida. Further survived by grandchildren Lydia Loupee, Kara Ward and Karla Dennis, sister Frances Wadell, other relatives and friends. Memorial services to be held at a later date.
