David R. Schuknecht, 56, of E Whitefish Road in Port Washington died May 2, 2004 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital – Ozaukee Campus in Mequon. He had been battling ill health due to diabetes for the last seven years.
He was born June 4, 1947 in Madison, Wisconsin to William C. Schuknecht and Virginia E. Schultz. David was a Port Washington High School Graduate. He worked as an assistant Bookkeeper at the former Port Washington Savings and Loan in Port Washington. (now Associated Bank) In February of this year his mother “Jinny” preceded him in death.
He is survived by his father William “Bill”, a brother Gerald “Jerry” Schuknecht both of Port Washington and sisters Judy (Loren) Kaye of Adams, WI and Carol (James “Novi”) Novshek of Port Washington, WI. He was the uncle of Justin, Ian and Carissa Novshek and the nephew of Robert (Kathy) Schuknecht of Saukville, WI, Elnor Hecimovich of Madison, WI and Dorothy Anderson of Schenectady, NY.
Reverend James Ernster officiating funeral services 6 pm Friday, May 7 at the funeral home. Cremation with final interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation after 4 pm Friday at the funeral home.
