Marciel, Vicente

Vicente S. Marciel, 75, of N Dries Street in Saukville died Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital – Ozaukee Campus in Mequon.

He was born in Austin, Texas on April 19, 1929 to Matilde and Eulaila Marciel.  He married Barbara Bossler of Port Washington, Wisconsin.  Vince was a punch press operator for ATACO Steel in Grafton for over 30 years, retiring in 1994.  He had also been a part-time Ozaukee County Deputy Sheriff years ago  and worked maintenance at Walmart in Saukville for the past five years.  He had a passion for horses, the Dallas Cowboys and one-armed bandits.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, son Daniel (Heather Bjma) Marciel, of Saukville and step-children Julie (Greg) Oleszak of Port Washington and James (Dawn) Jaroch of Sheboygan.  Further survived by grandchildren Brittney, Nathan, Jim, Mikayla, Nathaniel and Tayler, brothers Jesse (Rosa) Marciel of Austin, TX and Joe Marciel of Killeen, Texas, sister Janie (Jimmie) Gonzales of Killeen, Texas, his mother-in-law Elaine Bossler of Saukville, other relatives and friends.

The Rev. Karl Acker will officiate funeral services 4 pm Monday, February 28, 2005 at the funeral home.  Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saukville.  Visitation after 2 pm Monday.
