Gary Charles Liebmann, age 68, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Saukville, WI.

Gary was born November 15, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI to Frank and Geraldine Rausch Liebmann. He graduated from Dominican High School. He worked many years at AO Smith as a machinist, which he considered his favorite job.

Gary was known for his unassuming, easy-going nature. He loved telling jokes to those around him. He had fond memories of his travels to National Parks and deer hunting in Crivitz with friends. He was a loyal Packer fan and loved watching action and superhero movies. Despite memory loss, he would still recite with passion the opening words of Star Trek and The Green Lantern’s Oath.

He is survived by his children Kimberly (Sven) Olsen of Port Washington and Christopher Liebmann of Grafton as well as grandchildren Mileena, Harper, Svea, and Elva.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister Cindy.

A gathering will be held Thursday, September 15 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Poole Funeral Home, 203 N Wisconsin St., Port Washington, WI.

Sincere thanks to the staff at Dekora Springs Assisted Living for giving Gary eight years of wonderful care, friendship, and a place he could call home.
