Gerald W. “Jerry” LaBrush, 77, of N Lakeview Avenue in Port Washington died Friday, May 9, 2014 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
He was born May 20, 1936 in Ironwood, Michigan to Edward and Edna Mattson LaBrush. In 1938 the family moved to Milwaukee. He served in the US Army during peacetime before Vietnam. He was married to Mary Hopf of Kenosha, Wisconsin and in 1965 moved to Port Washington. He was a method analyst for AT & T / Lucent Technologies in Milwaukee, retiring in the early 1990’s. He enjoyed gardening and winemaking.
Jerry is survived by his wife Mary and sons Daniel LaBrush and Gregg LaBrush all of Port Washington. Further survived by siblings Edward (Carol) LaBrush, Jr. of Ohio and Gertrude Hernke of Mukwonago, Wisconsin. He is preceded in death by his brother Alan LaBrush and a sister Marie Talbot.
No funeral services will be held. Memorials can be made to the American Lung Association.
