Thomas L. Graff, 57, of Flowood, Mississippi died Monday, May 19, 2008 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
He was born October 18, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Gerald and Dorothy Willeford Graff. When he was eight, they family moved to Port Washington, living on North Wisconsin Street and then moving to North Milwaukee Street. He graduated from Port Washington High School in 1969 and began working for the Koehring Corp. in Port Washington. He served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1972 in Vietnam. He returned to Port Washington and his job and later worked for Badger Dynamics in Port Washington.
Tom moved to the Dallas, Texas area in the mid 1970’s and went to work for Sky Chefs Food Service at DFW Airport. After 18 years he joined Valley Services and transferred to the Jackson, Mississippi area where he was a District Food Service Manager.
He married Jayne “Maura” Scully of Newport Beach, California on August 31, 2001 in Pearl, Mississippi. He loved his family and enjoyed entertaining people at his home and spending time working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife Jayne “Maura” Graff and stepdaughter Meghan Pelton of Flowood, Mississippi. Further survived by his mother Dorothy Graff of Port Washington, Wisconsin, brothers Myron (Vicki) Graff, David (Peggy) Graff both of Port Washington, John (Sylvia) Graff of Friendswood, Texas, James Graff of Houston, Texas and Robert (Renee) Graff of Raleigh, North Carolina, brother-in-law David Henjy of Anderson, Texas, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded by his father Gerald and sister Mary (nee Graff) Henjy.
Fr. Patrick Wendt will officiate a memorial service 2 pm Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the Poole Funeral Home. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Washington. Visitation from 12 – 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
