GeibAudreyJAudrey J. Geib, 78, of Tower St., Saukville passed away peacefully Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Lasata Care Center, Cedarburg where she had resided the past few months with her family by her side.

She was born on May 14, 1935 in Saukville, WI, daughter of Herbert J. and Mamie Meyer Schultz.  She attended local schools, growing up enjoying the village of Saukville.  On August 6, 1955, she married Roger B. Geib of Newburg at St. Peter United Church of Christ in Saukville.

Over the years, Audrey remained quite active with her church.  She had been a member of the church council, building and grounds committee and directory committees, amongst others.  She used her skills as a homemaker with cooking, canning and baking.  She enjoyed reading recipes and remembered for her beef jerky.  Special time was spent playing with the grandchildren, tending her garden providing warmth and beauty to her home.  Her collection of teapots where always a part of a visit to her kitchen.  For over 26 years, Audrey was a production operator at Tecumseh Products in Grafton.  She retired in 1997.

She is survived by her husband Roger of Saukville, her children Daniel (Jeanne) Geib of Tennessee, Timothy Geib of Juneau, Susan Sarver of Saukville, David (Renee) Geib of Saukville and Matthew Geib of Saukville, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, her sister Charlotte Esselmann of Port Washington, brothers Lester (Carol) Schultz of Cedar Grove, Earl (Helen) Schultz of Grass Valley, CA and Donald Schultz of West Bend.  She is further survived by her sister-in-law Renata Schultz of Rochester, MN, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, sister Mildred (the late Ralph) Wegner, brother Harold Schultz, sister-in-law Karen Schultz and brother-in-law Donald Esselmann.

Her memorial funeral service will be 6PM Friday, May 31, 2013 at St. Peter UCC, 166 Dekora Street, Saukville.  Pastor Franz Rigert of Pilgrim United Church of Christ, Grafton will officiate.  Family will receive friends 4-6PM Friday AT CHURCH.  Interment will take place in Lakefield Cemetery, Town of Grafton.  Memorials to the church are appreciated.
