Albina Eichers, 79, of 6th Avenue Grafton, died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington.
She was born July 1, 1928 in Fiave, Italy to Silvio and Maria Calliari Lorenzi and as a baby immigrated to the Milwaukee area with her family. Most knew her as Sherry. She married Eldred Eichers of Cold Spring, Minnesota on June 17, 1950 in St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She enjoyed raising a family, crafting and painting.
Sherry is survived by her husband Eldred “Ike” Eichers and her children Laurie (John) Douglas and Joseph Eichers. Further Survived by 5 grandchildren, sister Virginia Eichers, other relatives and friends. A daughter-in-law, Margaret Eichers, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
Family services were held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Grafton. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or charity of choice appreciated.
