Daniel E. Ehren of Plymouth, age 50, died Monday, September 19, 2011 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan after a lengthy illness.
He was born on October 12, 1960 to Ewald and Marion Biever Ehren in Port Washington. He grew up in Fredonia and graduated from Ozaukee High School. He received a degree in Biology and Education from the University of Wisconsin – Superior. For 18 years he taught Biology at Random Lake High School and was a Cross Country Track Coach. He enjoyed the outdoors by fishing, kayaking or hunting.
He is survived by his mother Marion (R. John) Mudroch of West Bend, his sister Cindy (Ted) Mazza of Wind Lake, his brother Randy (Dawn) Ehren of Fillmore, two nieces Anna and Francesca “Frankie” Mazza, step-brothers and sisters, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Ewald “EJ” Ehren and his uncle John Biever.
Memorial funeral services will be at 6PM Friday, September 30 at the POOLE FUNERAL HOME/Crematory, 203 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington. Pastor Aaron Martell of New Life Community Church in Plymouth will officiate. Family will receive friends from 4-6PM Friday prior to the service. Memorials to the charity of choice appreciated.
