Jean M. Dieringer, 75, of the Samaritan Home, West Bend, formerly of 2687 Woodland Road, Town of Port Washington died Friday, Jun 29, 2007.

She was born March 21, 1932 in Newburg, WI, daughter of Joseph and Ilma Nehrbass Barnes.  She married Adolph J. Dieringer of the Town of Auburn, near Campbellsport on June 9, 1951 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fredonia.  For almost 40 years she enjoyed her country home, moving to the Samaritan a few years ago.  She enjoyed sewing, crafts and keeping everything tidy and clean.  She found great joy with her family especially playing games together.

She is survived by her husband Adolph, her children Rick (Karen) Dieringer of Saukville, Diane (Tom) Clark of Campellsport, Doreen (Tom) Thill of Fredonia, Debbie (Don) Wollner of Newburg, Denise (Don) Utecht of Campbellsport and Dean (Chris) Dieringer of Belgium, 22 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, three sisters Lois (the late Harvey) Jacque of Kiel, Carol (Romy) Tackes of Cavour and Joanne (Allen) Koopman of Lakefield (Town of Grafton); three sisters-in-law Gert Barnes of Athelstene, Pat Barnes of Sheboygan and Darlene Barnes of Cedar Grove, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her sister Bernice (Jerry) Nothem and three brothers LeRoy, Bill and Bob Barnes.

Funeral services will be held at 7PM Monday, July 2, 2007 at the funeral home.  The Reverend John Klieve of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Port Washington will be the officiant.  Visitation will be from 4-7PM Monday.  Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Port Washington.  Memorials of choice are appreciated.
