Josefina Wolff, 81, of Briarknoll Court in Saukville died Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital – Ozaukee Campus in Mequon.

She was born April 5, 1925 in San Antonio, Cavite, Philippines to Herminigildo and Rosario Diaz Serrano.  She married Elmer W. Wolff, an American Solider from Chicago, on January 30, 1947 in San Juan del Monte, Rizal, Philippines.  Together they returned to the United States and lived in Posen, Illinois for many years.  She worked for the Nabisco Corporation in Chicago. Beginning on the Oreo line, at one time she was the woman who filled them.  She retired after 33 years in 1985 as a supervisor.  Her husband Elmer preceded her in death April 28, 1978.  After retirement Josefina traveled the world.  She had a world mapped that she marked with all the places she had been.  She was a hard working and independents lady.

Josefina is survived by her sister-in-law Pearl Austin, nephews William Wolff of Saukville, Wisconsin, John Wolff of Iowa and Cary Austin of Maryland  and a niece Rebecca Austin of Florida.  She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, a brother Eduardo Austin and a nephew Ricardo Austin.  She was cremated and interred next to her husband in Chapel Hill South Cemetery in Worth, Illinois.
