Lilian K. Weinrich, 73, of N Lakeview Avenue, Port Washington died Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital – Ozaukee Campus in Mequon, Wisconsin.

She was born June 19, 1933 in Cedar Creek, Wisconsin.  She was adopted by William and Anna Krick Rock.  When she was in her early teens the family moved to Port Washington and she graduated from Port Washington High School.  She met John V.”Jack” Weinrich of Port Washington and they were married at St. Mary’s Church in Port Washington on June 21, 1952.  Together they raised their family on West Jackson Street for many years.

Lilian was a lady of many talents.  She was a homemaker, floral designer, baker, gardener, sewer and tailor  to name a few.  She also made “Mom’s Homemade Schaum Torte” and other desserts for NewPort Shores Restaurant in on the marina in Port Washington.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her husband John V. “Jack”, four children Vicki (Gregory) Winkler of Burlington, Wisconsin, Kathey (Brian) Wester of Cedarburg, Wisconsin,  Mindy and John W. (Angela) Weinrich both of Port Washington.  Further survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brothers Albert Lehn  of Milwaukee, Richard (Clarice) Lehn of Oconomowoc and Tony (Margie) Lehn of North Carolina, sister Mary ( Joe) Robles of Fond du Lac, other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Funeral services 7 pm Thursday, October 12, 2006 from the funeral home to St. Mary’s Church, Port Washington for Mass at 7:30 pm.  Interment parish cemetery.  Visitation from 4 – 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home with a 4 pm Rosary. Memorials to the Sisters of Poor Clare appreciated.
