Sorce, Louis

Louis N. “Butch” Sorce, 54, of 1029 Reed St., Plymouth died as a result of a tragic accident on County Road PP on December 31, 2007.

He was born on February 22, 1953 in Milwaukee, son of Nunzio and Myrtle Webster Sorce.  A former dock worker at the Port of Milwaukee, Butch has most recently resided in Plymouth, as well as Random Lake over the years.   He will be remembered as a kind and good-hearted man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children Amanda (George) Drowns of Plymouth, Kristine (Josh) Payne of Adell and Jesse (Jenny) Flores of Silver spring, MD, eight grandchildren, his mother Myrtle Rady of Antigo, two sisters Belinda Daniels of Antigo and Annette “Nina” Dembowiak of Chicago, two brothers Ronald Colcert of Milwaukee and Paul (Francine) Sorce of Colorado Springs, CO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his wife Mary, his father Nunzio and sister Gina Dobbs.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Sat. Jan. 5, 2008 at the Poole Funeral Home, 203 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington.  Cremation will follow with final interment at Union Cemetery, Port Washington.  Visitation will be from Sat. 11AM until time of service.
