Florence “Dollie” Ronowski, 81, of County Highway B in Belgium died Monday, July 9, 2007 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.

She was born on October 24, 1925 to Frank and Pauline Grandezski Ronowski in Milwaukee Wisconsin.  She worked for Northwestern Mutual Insurance in Milwaukee.  Later she drove school bus and worked at Kleen Test Products in Port Washington.  She was active in sports playing golf, tennis and bowling.  She played on a women’s professional baseball team in Racine that inspired the movie “A League Of Their Own”.  Dollie also was a member of the Racine Kilties Marching Band.

Dollie is survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by sisters  Joyce Oerichbauer, Anne Adam, Martha Quartemont and Irene Ronowski and a brother Clarence Ronowski.

Rev. Richard Fleischman will celebrate a Memorial Mass 11 am Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Holy Rosary Parish, Holy Cross.  Interment parish cemetery.  Visitation 10 – 11 am Thursday, October 4, 2007 at church, 2330 County Road B, Holy Cross.
