Diane J. Palleria, age 57, of Emmer Avenue, Fredonia, Wisconsin peacefully passed away Sunday morning, October 19, 2014 at Kathy Hospice, West Bend after a lengthy two year illness.
She was born on July 28, 1957 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Clifford J. and Ruth E. Kreckel Mondor. Growing up in Milwaukee, Diane graduated from Custer High School, member of the class of 1975. On August 14, 1982, she married Donald C. “Don” Palleria of Milwaukee at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Milwaukee.
For over 30 years, Diane was employed as a systems analyst for BMO Harris Bank, formerly M&I Bank, in Brown Deer. When not at work, Diane loved time spent with family and being a grandma. Camping up north or playing Blitz or Cribbage were some of her favorites.
She is survived by Don Palleria of Fredonia, her children Rebecca “Becky” (Jake) Gutermann of Random Lake and Jason (Leslie) Palleria of Mayville, her grandchildren Scott & Elijah Gutermann, her sister Nancy (Tom, Don’s brother) Palleria of Menomonee Falls, she is further survived by Aunt Joan Kreckel of Menomonee Falls, father-in-law Frank (the late Dolores) (fiancé Ginny Owens) Palleria of Naples, Florida, sisters-in-law Catherine Mondor of Milwaukee and Debra (Matt) Jankowski of Germantown, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Diane is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Michael Mondor.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7PM Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at Divine Savior Parish-Holy Cross Chapel, 5330 County Road B, Holy Cross, Town of Belgium. Reverend Guy Gurath will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held from 4-7PM Friday AT CHURCH. Memorials are appreciated.
