Pearl C. Pairque, 87, of Merritt Island, Florida died April 28, 2003 at her residence.

Pearl was born January 14, 1916 in Port Washington, Wisconsin to Carl and Anna Himstedt Schmidt.  She married Erwin Schubert of Cedarburg, Wisconsin on November 15, 1933 in Port Washington.  She worked for the former Badger Raincoat and Ben Franklin Store.  She was worked for Smith Bros Restaurant.  After Erwin died in a boiler explosion at Quik Mix Co. on Februarry 2, 1953 Pearl moved to Florida.  She met Hildred Pairque of New Orleans, Louisianna and on April 23, 1960 she married him in Rock Ledge, Florida.  He preceded her in death in October, 1995.

She is survived by her two children, Ronald (Mary Ann) Schubert of Wausau, WI and Pat (Dean) Pierringer of Vista California.  She is further survived by 2 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brother-in-law Sherwood Doucette of Port Washington, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Friday, May 2, 2003 at Union Cemetery in Port Washington.  Rev. John Klieve of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Port Washington will officiate.
