Brian D. Moorehead, “Tex”, of County Highway A in the town of Fredonia died at his residence Sunday, June 21, 2009. He was 46 years old.
He was born August 30, 1962 in Port Washington to Lonnie F. and Margaret Sampont Moorehead. Brian grew up in Fredonia, graduating from Ozaukee High School. He moved to Georgia and South Carolina after high school and returned to Wisconsin in 2008. He worked as a salesman for Glenn Curtiss Motor Sports in West Bend. He loved dirt bikes, and enjoyed fishing and trap shooting when he could. He will be remembered as the prankster, living by the motto keep’em laughing and have fun.
He is survived by his daughters Veronica and Tiffany Moorehead of the state Washington and his mother Marge (the late Larry) Rabuck of Fredonia. Further survived by brothers Lonnie (Michelle) Moorehead of West Bend and Leon (Barb) Rabuck of Plymouth, sister Barb (Bob) Fuhrman of Superior, Wisconsin, other relatives and friends. Preceded by his grandparents John & Thelma Moorehead, Walter & Margaret Sampont, his father Lonnie Moorehead and step-father Larry Rabuck.
Rev. James Ernster will officiate funeral services 7 pm Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the funeral home. Visitation 4 – 7 pm Thursday. Interment in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Beckley, West Virginia. Memorials appreciated.
