Kaye N. Townsend Miller, age 67, of Grafton, WI; formerly of Port Washington, WI passed away peacefully Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Anita’s Gardens in Port Washington due to complications of a recent stroke.

She was born on November 30, 1949 in Port Washington; daughter of Robert L. and Kate E. Williams Townsend.

Kaye grew up in Port Washington; graduating from Port Washington High School in 1968. She went on to obtain her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kaye had worked at the Allen Bradley Company in Milwaukee. She later moved west to California and resided there for many years.

Upon her retirement, Kaye returned to Ozaukee County in 2011, taking up residence in Grafton.

Upon her request, no funeral services are planned.

Kaye is survived by her siblings Debbie Hoffman of Hales Corners, June Kroll of Madison, Joan (Richard) Mistele and Judy (Brian) Peiffer, both of Green Bay, Jeff (Phyllis) Townsend of Port Washington, Dale Townsend of Neenah and Lee (Ardell) Townsend of Dousman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters Roberta Barber, Lora McInnis and Jeanne Pukas.

    We’re sorry to hear of Kaye’s death. I know it’s been years since we last talked, but I have good memories of times together in and out of high school. Prayers for her family and siblings.
