Kathryn L. McCaslin, 81, formerly of Sunset Road, Port Washington died March 26, 2006 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.

She was born in Black River Falls, Wisconsin on November 4, 1924 to Earl and Bernice Dayton Paulson.  She met Guy A. McCaslin of Williamsport, Pennsylvania and married him in Black River Falls, Wisconsin on March 25, 1944.  Katy was a long time resident of Freeport, Illinois.  Katie worked in housekeeping at St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged in Freeport for many years and was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Freeport.  Her husband preceded her in death May 6, 1974.  In March of 1994 she moved to Port Washington to be nearer to her son and in 2003 she moved to Lasata in Cedarburg.

She is survived by her son Virgil (Mary) McCaslin of Belgium and granddaughter Angela McCaslin of St. Louis, Missouri.  Further survived by brothers Gerald (Naomi) Paulson of Port Washington and August (Marion) Paulson of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, sister Grace Grebner of Elizabethton, Tennessee, other relatives and friends.  Preceded by her husband Guy, sisters Opal and Arvilda and a brother Louis.

VIsitation 5 – 7 pm Thursday, March 30, 2006 at the Poole Funeral Home.  Visitation and services Saturday April 1, 2006 at Walker Mortuary, Freeport, Illinois.  Interment City Cemetery, Freeport, Illinois.  Memorials to Lasata Care Center (W76 N 677 Wauwatosa Road, Cedarburg, WI 53012) appreciated.
