LucasCarolCarol E. Lucas, a lifelong resident of Port Washington, had an endless love for her family, helped others selflessly and made many people happy. All who came to visit her home were welcomed with open arms, a cheery hello, and a big smile. She loved to record all of life’s treasured moments with photos and videos, enjoyed her many flower gardens, and had a love for learning. She was patient, kind, and   adored by many.

Carol was born on December 25, 1932 in Port Washington daughter of the late Alvin Thome and Lenore Hoeppner. She married George (Juner) Lucas on October 7, 1950 and was later blessed with three kids. Carol left us peacefully for heaven surrounded by family Wednesday, July 9, 2014.

Carol is survived by beloved husband of 63 years George, her kids Sharri Lucas, Debbie (Paul) Uhlig and Jeff (Jackie) Lucas, sister Shirley Parlow, sister-in-law Kris Lemke, eight grandkids and twelve great-grandkids. Following Carol’s wishes a private family service was held.

Carol was a cherished wife, amazing Mom, a wonderful Grama and an exceptional Gi Gi (Great – Grama) and will be deeply missed.
