Mary Jo Lindsey of West Bend, formerly of Theinsville, died peacefully June 10, 2012 at Belgium Gardens, Belgium where she had resided the past two years.

She was born November 12, 1933 in Thiensville, Wisconsin to Melvin and Margaret O’Leary Stowell.  Growing up in Thiensville, she attended and graduated from Messmer High School in Milwaukee.  She raised her family in West Bend, Wisconsin and worked as a supervisor for Amity Leather Products in West Bend for many years, retiring in 1991.  Mary Jo was a caring and proud grandma.  She enjoyed cheering on the Brewers and Packers and traveling.  She liked to read, sew and craft.

She is survived by her children John Lindsey of Theresa, WI, Kathleen “Bridget” Weiss of Chippewa Falls, WI, Corrine (James) Mikesell of West Bend, WI, Mary (Dave) Leininger of Saukville, WI; grandchildren Patrick and Julie Lindsey, Beth Payne, Jill Schaefer, Laura Remy, Nathan and Erin Weiss, Kaitlin and Shane Jach and great grandchildren Wyatt, Zeviah, Kearsten, Natalee and Abigale.  Further survived her sister Margaret “Peggy” (Jerry) Egelhoff of Thiensville, canine pal Maddie, other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by brothers John and Robert Stowell and sister Virginia “Jean” Taylor.

Reverend Gerald Presuhn will officiate services at NOON Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the funeral home.  Visitation Saturday 10 am to Noon on Saturday.  Memorials appreciated.
