Lester J. Laurin, 55, of 332 S. Mayfair Drive, Saukville, WI, died Sunday October 19, 2003 at Ruth Hospice, Milwaukee where he had been a resident for a few days.

He was born on February 19, 1948 in Daggett, MI, to Clifford and Anne Charlier Laurin.  On May 1, 1971 he married Eleanor Spaulding of Powers, MI in Carney, MI.  In 1979 they moved to Cedarburg, WI due to his job at Peck Meats of Milwaukee, WI.  They moved to Saukville, WI in 1986. He continued to work there as a supervisor for over 31 years, now called Emmpak Foods.   He enjoyed coaching youth soccer and baseball and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Eleanor and daughter Leta, both of Saukville, his son Joseph (Jennifer) Laurin of Port Washington, WI; five sisters Sister Mary Ann Laurin of Marquette, MI, Darlene (Jim) Blahnik of Wilson, MI, Alice (Allen) Lanaville of Nadeau, MI, Gloria (Allen) Eichhorn of Wallace, MI and Gladys (Mark) Loretti of Willingboro, NJ; six brothers Alvin (Claudia) Laurin of Carney, MI, Leon (Tammy) Laurin of Wallace, MI, Martin (Teresa) Laurin of Little Chute, WI, Peter (LouAnn) Laurin of Menominee, MI, Ivan Laurin of Carney, MI and Dennis (Jane) Laurin of Marinette, WI; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 2 PM, Friday, October 25, 2003 at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Nadeau, MI.  The Rev. Matthew Perumpally will be the celebrant.  Cremation with final interment in Nadeau Township Cemetery.  Visitation after 1 PM Friday at Church.
