Kultgen, Alfred

Alfred A. Kultgen, 77, of Hwy 57, town of Fredonia died Monday, January 10, 2005 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Port Washington where he had been a resident the last month.

He was born December 8, 1927 in the Town of Fredonia to Leo N. and Ann Weyker Kultgen.  He actively operated the family’s 3 generation dairy and beef farm until 2001.  Over the years he had been active at St. Rose Parish through CYO softball and the Holy Name Society. He was a former member of the School Board of Education of the Northern Ozaukee School District.  He enjoyed polkas, bowling, softball, volleyball and politics.

He is survived by his sister Mary (Ron) Schommer of Fredonia, four brothers, Lee (Joanne) and Paul (Bev) Kultgen of Random Lake, John (Pam) of Chana, IL and Henry (Judy) Kultgen of Fredonia, 14 nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 7:30PM Thursday, January 13, 2005 at Holy Rosary Parish-St. Rose Chapel, Fredonia.  Reverend Richard Fleischmann and Rev. James Ernster will be the celebrants.  Interment will be in St. Rose Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3 to 7:15PM AT CHURCH.  Memorials to the charity of choice appreciated.
