Gene A. Hunter, 85, of County KK in the Town of Port Washington died August 5, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
He was born July 10, 1932 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Albert and Lillian Richards Hunter. He served in US Army from 1952 to 1954. He married Rita M. Schuster of Wausau, Wisconsin on September 22, 1956 in Milwaukee. He worked for many years at Cedarburg Dairy.
Gene is survived by his wife Rita and children Jim Hunter of Germantown and Kim (Kelly) Cayo of Brookfield. Further survived by grandchildren Sarah (Mike Zilke) Hunter, Brian Hunter, Samantha (Bart Mitchell) Cayo and Michael Cayo, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, step-father Erv Mahlberg, brother Robert and half-brother Kenny.
Private family services have been held.
