FedelRickRick A. Fedel, 41, of Sabinois Point Road, Pelican Lake, WI died January 1, 2010 due to a snowmobile accident in the Township of Pelican.

He was born in Milwaukee, WI on January 18, 1968, son of Robert and Patricia Pittenger Fedel.  His family moved from West Allis to Port Washington when he was very young.  He graduated from St. Peter’s School and Port Washington High School.  In 1991, he moved to Pelican Lake.

For the past twelve years he was a RTP machine operator for Red Arrow in Rhinelander.  He was a true outdoorsman.  Hunting and fishing was always a great time.  He had a wonderful sense of humor, a friend to everyone and loved a good practical joke.  He will truly be remembered for the good times spent with family and friends or ice fishing with his nephew and buddies.

He is survived by his wife, Renee (nee Pesl), her sons Sam Pesl and Dylan Binkawski, two brothers Mike (Sue) Fedel of Port Washington and Jim (Debbie) Fedel of the Town of Port Washington, nieces Amy, Sami and Kelly Fedel and nephew David Fedel, dear friends John and Maria Sabourin of Rhinelander and Al and Julie Clark of Pelican Lake, his canine pal Radar, other relatives and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 7PM Friday, January 22, 2010 at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church, 1800 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington.  Reverend Patrick Wendt will be the celebrant.  Family will receive friends from 4 to 7PM Friday AT CHURCH.  Memorials appreciated.
