EichHelenHelen F. Eich, 77, of Port Washington was reunited with dad on Father’s Day, June 19, 2005.

She was born on June 7, 1928 in Port Washington to Richard “Pops” Bossler and Margaret Besch.  A life long resident of Port Washington, she married Earl J. Eich of Iowa on October 24, 1953 at St. Mary’s Church in Port Washington.  He preceded her in death October 12, 1974.

Helen worked as a Maternity Nurses Aide for over 10 years at the former St. Alphonsus Hospital in Port Washington until it closed.  She then worked as a cook for the former Ratatori Vending in Port Washington for over 6 years.  She enjoyed reading and the birds, deer and other outdoor wildlife around the house.  Helen was a very proud great grandma of Cayla, who brought her great joy.

She is survived by her daughter Connie (Vern) Egle of Port Washington, grandson Vinny (KC) Egle of Saukville and great granddaughter Cayla Egle.  Further survived by sisters Hiltrude (Norbert) Federspiel, Bernice Winnemuller and Caroline (Arnold) Ansay all of Port Washington; other relatives and friends.  Preceded by brother John “Butch” and Jerald “JT” Bossler and a sister LaVerne Redig.

Funeral services 7 pm Thursday, June 23, 2005 from the funeral home to St. Mary’s Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 7:30 pm.  The Rev. Allan Sommer will be the celebrant.  Interment parish cemetery.  Visitation 4 – 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home with a 4 pm rosary service.  Memorials to the Benjamin David Carini Memorial Education Fund within the Greater Milwaukee Foundation (1020 N Broadway – Milwaukee, WI 53202)
