Clorinda Frances Guido Doran, 88, formerly of Manchester Heights Apartments, Grafton and Lasata Care Center, Cedarburg died Friday, August 8, 2008 at Kathy’s Hospice in West Bend.
She was born on April 25, 1920 in Chicago to Anthony and Helen Iannidinardo Guido. On August 18, 1945 she married James A. Doran in Chicago. She raised her family in Milwaukee and actively worked as a beautician. Later she was an Inspector with the former Fredman Bag Company of Milwaukee retiring in 1982. In February, 1980 her husband preceded her in death. In 1988 she moved to Grafton to be closer to family. She enjoyed the Grafton Senior Center, volunteer with Meals on Wheels program and the Silver Bells Dance Group. She had been a resident of Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg until recently.
She is survived by 5 children, Nancy (Jim) Osborn of Port Clinton, Ohio, Robert (Carrie) Doran of Fortuna, Missouri, Roxanne (Kent) Bayle of DeKalb, Illinois, Marcia “Marci” (John) Hauck of Grafton and Kathy Wick of AppleValley, Minnesota, six grandchildren Danny Doran, Ben and Laura Bayle, Tanya and Troy Hauck and Daniel Wick, other relatives and friends. She is preceded by her husband James and a brother Ernie Guido.
Family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the funeral home. Private family interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton. Memorials to Kathy’s Hospice, 3232 Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend, WI 53095 appreciated.
