BuserDorothyCDorothy C. Buser, 87, of Lovers Lane Road, Holy Cross, Town of Belgium, died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.

She was born March 30, 1921 in Random Lake, Town of Sherman to Joseph and Veronica Rassel Hagel.  She worked at the former Musebeck Shoe Company in Cedar Grove over the years.  She married Edwin Buser of Baileyville, Kansas on October 28, 1950 at St. Mary’s Church in Random Lake, Wisconsin.  He preceded her in death January 30, 1993.

Dorothy lived her married life in Holy Cross and worked with her husband and son cleaning and maintaining Holy Cross Church, school and rectory.  She was a member of the Holy Name Society, Catholic Knights, Catholic Order of Foresters and the Christian Women.  She was proud of her family and enjoyed baking, gardening and canning , sewing and the living in the country, watching the birds and squirrels.

She is survived  her children Paul (Rosemary) Buser, Evelyn (James) Watry both of Port Washington, Daniel Buser of Holy Cross and Carl (Lorie) Buser of Belgium, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  Further survived by daughter-in-law Suzanne (Randy) Parker of Wichita, KS, sister-in-law Gladys Hagel of Random Lake, other relatives and friends.  Preceded by her husband Edwin, son Mark and brothers Joseph, Lawrence and Fred Hagel.

Rev. James Ernster will celebrate Mass of Christian Burial 7 pm Wed. Oct. 29, 2008 at Holy Rosary Parish, Holy Cross Chapel, 5330 Hwy B, Holy Cross.  Visitation 4 pm to  7 pm Wed. AT CHURCH.  Memorials to Holy Cross Chapel or the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice are appreciated.
